Brothers Robbie and Tom Buhl bringing Motor City flavor to Red Bull Global Rallycross
The Detroit-based Opportunity Detroit/Buhl Sport Detroit race team and marketing group led by co-principals Robbie and Tom Buhl has a driver for its Red Bull Global Rallycross debut set for Nov. 3-4 in Las Vegas.
On Friday, the team named Augie Lerch to drive the team's GRC Lites entry. Lerch is working his way up the motorsports ladder. Having spent most of career racing on pavement in karts, Formula 1600 and the Mazda Road to Indy program. Competing in three Robby Gordon Stadium Truck series races this year has provided him with the right combination of experience for GRC.
