The #4 DRiV // Racing4Detroit team, with Alex Keyes behind the wheel, opened the Americas Rallycross season with a round 1 win in ARX2. Winning his seminal by nearly 7 seconds, Keyes started on pole position for the Saturday final. After a clean launch, he never looked back, capping off a strong day with a near 5 second margin of victory in the final race.

Round 2 on Sunday came with a few more replaced bumpers challenges, including a semifinal run with the driver side door swinging open nearly the entire race after contact in turn 1 of lap 1. Still Keyes kept his cool, made the final, and navigated his way from 6th to 3rd to make his fifth consecutive trip to the ARX2 podium.

“Looking back on the weekend, it’s awesome to be starting in a good position for the rest of the year," Keyes said after the doubleheader weekend. "We repeated our late season success from last year and will keep getting stronger as the year progresses.”
